What We Do
Chiropractic is concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system and their effects
on the nervous system. Chiropractors use specific adjustments to the joints especially in the spine to restore normal function and efficiency of the nervous system and thus relieving pain. We understand that the brain and the nervous system control all the systems and functions of the entire body – the brain runs the body through the nerves. Due to past stresses and injuries the body develops health problems.

Chiropractic treats the cause of problems. Often the ‘root of the disorder’ is a distance away from the site of pain and must be addressed. To get the maximum benefit patients need to work with their chiropractor as a team, to co operate with advice, keep their appointments and perform exercises if required. We look for the cause of health problems by examining the posture and alignment of the neck and spine and limbs and if we find a bone out of place that is causing nerve interference (‘subluxation’), we adjust the area using very gentle chiropractic techniques. When nerve interference is removed then the body can heal itself. We can also help with most muscular problems using appropriate and effective soft tissue techniques.
